Iconic's Indigenous Peoples Policy
Iconic believes in building trusting, fair, equitable and mutually beneficial relationships with Canada's Aboriginal peoples.
Iconic has spent a great deal of time working with Straight Talk Aboriginal Awareness Training. To date our learnings and actions are as follows;
- We realize there is a lot to learn and understand about Canada’s First Peoples
- Senior management have taken Aboriginal Awareness Training and received certification
- We have engaged an experienced Aboriginal business (Straight Talk) to guide us through the complexities
- We understand that we are capable of helping not saving Aboriginal people
- We are actively recruiting Aboriginal men and women from remote communities and urban centres
- We will work toward mutual respect & trust with the First Peoples of Canada
